MATI is craft brewed in our very own MATI Microbrewery in North Carolina.
In 2012 MATI's founder, Tatiana Birgisson, found herself pressed for time, tired and unmotivated. She began her search for a source of healthy energy and was left empty-handed after combing the shelves at her local grocery store.
Her need for healthy energy turned into dorm room experimentation with teas to find the best tasting brew to keep her going. The teapot quickly turned into a 10-gallon pasta pot and dorm mates asking if they could buy a few bottles to help themselves out. Once a local office inquired they could stock MATI for employees, Tatiana knew she had something special.
One partnership with a local brewery, and 100,000 hand-labeled cans later, Tatiana found herself on the stage at Google Demo Day pitching MATI to investors and attendees in Silicon Valley. Her natural energy drink won over the judges and press outlets across the nation. MATI was making waves and ready to turn the energy drink industry on its head.
Today, we stay true to our story by celebrating go-getters and healthy hustlers with a focused boost from our all-natural ingredients. MATI is brewed in our very own MATI Microbrewery and we continue to grow as more people join our mission to reach their natural potential.
